I have had only five hours sleep in the last two days. I am exhausted. But this needs to come out (even as simply as this).

My daughter Nikki and my son-in-law, Josh (the best any father could ever hope for), gave me my first grandchild: a boy named Logan Charles Paris.

My grandson was born on February 28, 2017 at 9:42 AM. He is 7 pounds 10 ounces and is 21 inches long.

He was born at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California. The grandparents were all there: Julie Paris and Russell Paris, Michelle Bock and me. We were all on the same page. We all knew what was important. We all supported one another.

I am very happy right now. I cannot wait till I am conscious enough to tell you about it.
